ILC Media and Spurs Odyssey have done it again!

The very latest Spurs review of the season DVD is hot off the press, and thanks to us, three readers can win a free copy of this DVD reviewing another exciting high-performance season, in which we won a record number of away games; gained a record number of Premier League points (for Spurs); qualified for Europe, and saw 26 fantastic goals by player of the season Gareth Bale!

ILC Media's review of the 2012-13 season

2012/2013 was a new dawn at Tottenham Hotspur under new Head Coach Andre Villas-Boas. Competing once again both domestically and in Europe the Club made progress throughout the season, breaking their Barclays Premier league points tally for the season as well as an extended run in the UEFA Europa League.

Gareth Bale continued to impress, picking up a clean sweep of awards at the PFA as well the Football Writers' Footballer of the Year. As well as this the Club made some key signings to help bolster the squad, improve the first team and mould a side into the vision of Head Coach Andre Villas-Boas.

This was another compelling season at the Lane and every game and every goal can be seen in the comprehensive review of the season. (Currently available in Spurs shops at £12.99)

So, how can you win one of these DVDS? Firstly, read the summaries below of the short-listed games:-

1. Manchester United 2 Spurs 3

Spurs win a Premier League game at Old Trafford for the very first time, and win their first away game there since 1989! Jan Vertonghen gave Spurs a great start with a goal inside two minutes. (This was later adjudged to be a Jonny Evans own goal). Gareth Bale put us in dreamland and two up with a right footed shot. There were a mad two minutes in the second half, when Nani got one back for United; Dempsey restored our two goal lead, then Kagawa made it 3-2, and a tense finish, in which Spurs held on for a historic win!

2. Spurs 3 Maribor 1

Spurs were unbeaten in three previous Europa League games, but this was their first win, and it was done in convincing style, with a Jermain Defoe hat-trick. It was the first hat-trick scored by Spurs for two years. Defoe was on fire in the first half of the season, in which he scored 14 of his 15 club goals.

3. Spurs 2 Liverpool 1

Aaron Lennon maintained the record which means we have never lost a game in which he has scored. Aaron put us in the lead from a Bale cross, and Bale himself scored one of his "knuckle ball" free kicks that left Reina standing.

4. Aston Villa 0 Spurs 4

It was 0-0 at half-time, but Spurs gave Villa an absolute pasting on their turf with four second half goals, which included a magnificent Bale hat-trick. it was Spurs' fifth away Premier League win, taking them half-way towards their record Premier League best of 10 away victories.

5. West Ham 2 Spurs 3

This was the first of three fantastic wins in London, in consecutive games. Beating West Ham is always fun, of course, but Gareth Bale's last minute winner (which won our goal of the season vote) made this a fantastic night at Upton Park. Bale was in the midst of a fantastic spell in which he scored 10 goals in 8 games.

6. Spurs 2 Arsenal 1

Two goals for Spurs in two first half minutes was enough to give us the win. Lennon scored the second (his fourth and last of the season) to maintain that non-losing scoring record that gave me confidence going into the second half. Sigurdsson had threaded a fine pass for Bale to score our first goal to beat Szczesny, who, after all, is a goalkeeper we love to see beaten.

7. Spurs 3 Inter 0

Inter are not the team they were when we beat them two years previously in the Champions League, but this was still a great team performance, and much needed too, bearing in mind we lost 4-1 at the San Siro the following week. Bale, Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen scored our goals.

8. Spurs 3 Manchester City 1

Spurs won this game with a magical seven minute spell in the second half, in which they scored all three of their goals. The third of these was (you guessed it) another special goal by Gareth Bale , not forgetting a fine pass by Tom Huddlestone.
