The new home of Spurs

The new home of Spurs

Anticipation continues to build ahead of the unveiling of Tottenham’s new state of the art stadium. They believe they have created the finest stadium in world football for spectators. This will be a stunning landmark for not only Tottenham but London and the UK in general, with the stadium set to host a number of different sports. Here we cover some of the facilities available.

The stadium has had a complete change with state of the art facilities and the best composite doors available throughout. With 60 food and drink outlets it will give fans the most expansive of offerings available on matchdays. With the stadium they are looking for a connected experience for fans with free high density WIFI all round, this will be top spec so fans will not have the usual complications of gaining connection. This is backed with the new state of the art turnstile system, which means fans can now gain entry through a new access card or ticketing on smartphones.

Spurs have looked to push a more comfortable overall experience for fans with a vast number of well-designed washrooms throughout the stadium. This is backed with 1800 HD TVs, so you won’t miss any of the action. So what about refreshments? The food and drink outlets will include a street food emporium with a huge choice of food options.

There will also be three feature bars which will serve an array of options for consumers. There will also be a 65 metre goal line bar! This will stretch the entire length of the goal line, meaning it is the longest in Europe. A microbrewery is also being installed, which will have a unique beer tap room, which is likely to be a very popular option for many. The bars will stay open following the final whistle and there will be entertainment available.

Spurs are really pushing for a state of the art modern stadium, so quick service is key. This is set to be a cashless stadium, in which all payments need to be made through contactless cards or mobile phones. This will enable for a continued speedy service for all. So what about the stadium viewing itself?

The new stadium is going to provide an in bowl experience for fans. This enables for it to be a more intimate feel for fans due to how the seats are arranged. Fans will be closer to the pitch than any other in the UK, with distances as low as 4.9 metres to the touchline from the front row. The stands are angled at 35 degrees meaning spectators will feel more connected with the play. This coupled with a state of the art sound system and giants HD screens in each corner of the ground. This seating also means uninterrupted views of the pitch and comfortable seating for fans. This stadium will ensure that the stadium is still one of the most atmospheric in sport.
