Spurs Odyssey Reviews the Premiership Season
for 2011-2012 - Match 30
Best in Seven

Unsurprisingly, Spurs' performance at Stamford Bridge was voted as our best in seven games since the 5-0 beating of Newcastle. Clearly we need to maintain this level of form for the remainder of the season.

Man of the match was a close call, with honourable mentions for Kyle Walker and Emmanuel Adebayor in particular, but centre-back William Gallas won the vote in his first appearance since 3rd January, with a score of 7.6/10. Both Gallas and Kaboul performed admirably, and 6 of the team scored over 7.

Jermain Defoe had to sit this one out, and in 36 matches in all competitions, this was the fifth time he has not been called into action. On the other hand, Louis Saha has got on the pitch in all 8 games where has been selected as one of the 18, making 5 starts in those games.

The updated game on game like for like feature shows that we are currently 9 points better than in the identical games last season. (Relevant teams are chosen to replace those relagated) We are more than capable of matching the wins of last season in forthcoming games, and bettering some, if not all, of the games where we drew or lost last season. In theory, it's looking good for our run-in.
