Tougher games have seen a marked drop in "Spursometer" ratings this month, and we have failed to find the net having scored 11 goals in October. Still, compare the ratings for this month with the same month last year, under "The Predecessor". Despite winning three out of the four games last year, the grades were deeply affected by the dismal performance at Villa Park. It is easy to see that the "Spursometer" honestly reflects the general improvement in the team under Glenn Hoddle. Perhaps the greatest area of concern presently is our poor goal to shot ratio, and a few too many unforced errors. In fairness, most of these have been in the middle, as our back three has been magnificent on the whole.
