Spurs’ Most Valuable Players

Spurs’ Most Valuable Players

We dared and we did!

There is no doubt that Tottenham Hotspur has been one of the best clubs in Europe in the last couple of years. Mauricio Pochettino has found the perfect balance and perfect team harmony. They reached the CL final in 2018/2019 season, but they were unfortunately beaten by Liverpool.

Spurs are estimated to be worth £1.3 billion as of May 2019. And with the great success and the valuable players, you can see why the club's worth is that high. The net worth is more than likely to increase if they have success, which the odds are pretty much leaned towards that claim.

Spurs 2019/2020 Season

Even though Tottenham had a rough start, losing against Newcastle, finishing 2-2 with Manchester City, and drawing against Arsenal, they are still among the favourites to win the league. Their odds are 66/1. Some of their players are on the list of players that are most likely to be the top goalscorers. Harry Kane’s odds to be the top goalscorer are 9/2. Heung Min-Son is also on that list, and his odds are 50/1.

The club is included as one of the best teams due to their recent success in the domestic league, as well as the international cups. There is no doubt that some people have a high chance of winning big when betting on Spurs. Spurs are also considered a favourite in some of the domestic cups. And to make matters more interesting, the odds are really great and tempting to bet on. Various online bookies have different odds in store for them. You can find the finest betting sites in the UK in one place and have a good look at each bookie’s promotions and bonuses on freebets.com.

Harry Kane is also one of the favourites to be the top goalscorer in the Champions League. His odds are 16/1. English teams, including Tottenham, are the most likely winners of the prestigious tournament. The odds for an English team to be the winner of the Champions League are 6/4. Tottenham’s odds of winning the Champions League are 25/1.

Spurs’ success is definitely reaching new heights. With it, the values of their best players are reaching sky-high prices. Here is our list of Tottenham’s current most expensive players.

Heung-Min Son

Son joined Tottenham in 2015 from Bayern Leverkusen at a price of £14.4 million. Since then, he played a vital part in the team’s recent success, scoring and assisting many goals. So far, the attacking winger has scored 67 goals and assisted another 37 in the 190 games that he played. His value? A whopping £72 million. And he is worth every penny.

Christian Eriksen

Probably one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. Eriksen has shown us what a perfect attacking midfielder and playmaker should be like. He has played 281 games for the club since 2013. He previously played in Ajax and joined Tottenham during the summer transfer period that year for £12.15 million. His current value is £90 million.

Tanguy Ndombélé

Ndombélé joined Tottenham this summer from Lyon. His fee was £54 million and the player was labelled as the perfect for Pochettino’s tactics. He is yet to prove himself in the squad, but the future is looking bright for him. His current market value has risen since he was bought and it is close to £59 million.

Dele Alli

Dele Alli was basically unknown to the football world up until 2015. Before the transfer to Tottenham, he played for MK Dons. His talent was spotted by Spurs’ scouts and on May 31 the same year, he joined the club for just £4.5 million. Since then, he rose and became one of Tottenham’s best players. His current market value is £81 million.

Harry Kane

The undisputed champion in this section. Harry Kane is of the best attackers not just at Tottenham Hotspur, but generally in English Premier League history. He is praised for his quality and he is yet to reach new heights and become an English legend. He is one of the club’s youth players that rose to the highest level. In the 257 games he has played for Spurs, he found the back of a net 167 times. He also assisted another 28. And that is why his current price is astonishing £135 million, making him one of the world’s most expensive players.
