This month's form guide sees a marked improvement(See last month's guide) in our score ratio, mainly due to our purple patch against Bolton and Fulham, but this is matched by a poorer score in defensive ability. This month we have seen some silly errors, notably at Charlton, and on Boxing Day at Southampton. Surprisingly, the score for effort shows a decrease. Could it be that our boys are saving themselves for Cup Glory? Certainly I hope to see maximum effort at Coventry and in the Worthington Cup Games against Chelsea. If you need reminding about how far things have improved under the guidance of Glenn Hoddle then have a look at last December's poor showing.
