It is re-assuring to see the Spursometer for December getting back to a reasonable level. Our 6 match unbeaten run has meant a great improvement on a poor showing in November, and even puts our form slightly above the level of last year. We are tending to make a few too many mistakes at the back, and we have leaked far too many goals for a side claiming to have strength in depth in defence, seeking to claim a place in Europe. Let us hope it is a happy and successful 2003, starting (twice!) at Southampton.
