Form Guide March 2003

· Last month's figures
· Last year's figures

Spurs have lost all three matches played in March; two of them to relegation sides, both of whom easily deserved their win. We even failed to score against these so-called "fodder" sides, as we did at The Stadium of Light when losing to Sunderland in November.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise to discover that the form guide for March consists of dismal figures. To the best of my recollection, these are in fact the worse monthly figures since the Spursometer was established back in November 2000. Then we were unhappy with "The Predecessor", and when Hoddle arrived we forsaw nothing but light and hope.

Even sadder to report, therefore that this season has seen worse form than under "Gooner George". The figures for September, November, January and now March have been moderate at best, and poor if we are honest. Our fall to 10th place has brought on all the press critics to the full, and I have to admit there have been more negative articles on our beloved team this month than I can recall, since Spurs Odyssey went live 4 years ago. Just in case you haven't read them yet, here they are:-

· I give up!

· Has the board got the will to succeed?

· The state of the Spurs Franchise

· Why Hoddle should stay

· Hoddle's talents & misjudgements

...and finally - you can compare this month's figures with last month, and last year.
