...if you want to remind yourself of the matches played during this month, then See the Fixtures page here.
Spurs have obtained just 5 points from their 7 league games played over the last two months. They haven't won at home since August, and they have managed just one home goal in that time too. They have lost 4 of their last 5 Premiership fixtures, and currently lie one from bottom of the form table above only Southampton. Currently Jacques Santini's side is displaying relegation form, which is of course, deeply distressing.
The one redeeming factor during this time has been our success, away from home in the Carling Cup. Not only have Spurs managed to win both games, they have also scored freely - 6 at Oldham and 4 at Bolton last week.
Santini's honeymoon period is very nearly over, and Cup success at Burnley next week will not be enough to placate the ever-demanding Tottenham fans should their team be beaten by Charlton this Saturday.
Not surprisingly, the performance figures show a marked decline, despite two wins in the period under review. An overall mark of 6 out of 10 for effort and 5 out of 10 for score ratio is plainly not good enough. If improvement is not recorded in November, the pressure will be well and truly upon yet another Spurs manager. Our Premiership programme includes three home games against Charlton, Arsenal and Middlesbrough, with a visit to Villa Park in front of SKY'S Monday night cameras on 22nd November.
We need to see more of the joyous crowd pictures seen in the picture on the right, kindly provided by Gerry Taylor, and taken at the end of the Everton game.
