Last month I wrote of the incredible pressure that would fall upon Glenn Hoddle if he failed against Southampton, and now we know what happened. It is interesting to reflect upon the modearate performance marks that the team achieved before and during Glenn's reign:-
· November 2000 - May 2001 (Graham & Hoddle) - 56.4%
· 2001-2 season. Glenn's first full season - 60.04%
· 2002-3 season Glenn's second season - 52.82%
I'll let the figures speak for themselves without comment, except to say I thought that Glenn had to go, and like everyone else, I look for great improvement under a new dynamic and supportive manager.
