The last time we beat Arsenal at Highbury was 11th May, 1993, which was an end of season affair when Arsenal rested a few players prior to their FA Cup Final win against Sheffield Wednesday. We won't mention how they got to that stage! Mind you, we played one or two youngsters that day too! Here are the full details of that occasion, courtesy of Brian Judson:-

Things were a little different then, weren't they?!
On form, most pundits would say that Spurs should be in for a hiding, as they lost 4-0 three games in succession only three weeks ago, whilst Arsenal have won all their last 6 league games, scoring freely, and conceding only two goals. Add to that their easy win over Newcastle in the FA Cup quarter-final replay, and we have formidable opposition. However, when you look at our Premiership history against the Gooners, you do realise just how little form has to do with the results in recent years, as we have often held our own at their place, and had some decent wins at The Lane.
Ashley Cole may not be out for long, but he will miss this game, but let's face it they have plenty in reserve. I expect us to defend in the same style as in our last three games, maybe score a goal on the break, and get a 1-1 draw to put The Unmentionables' Championship hopes on hold.
Of course, the real dream is for an 89th minute winner for Spurs through an own goal by a certain centre half, who no doubt will be treated to the full repertoire of hate songs. I wouldn't mind Richard Wright in goal to let in another Gus Poyet volley either!
