Aston Villa have struggled to score away from home and have not been too prolific at home, but they have only lost three home games. They have yet to play the top three sides at Villa Park.
Dion Dublin has hit some scoring form recently, and has seven league goals to his name, whilst the pacy Darius Vassell has scored seven in total, but only four in the league. As we know too well, Villa have also been ejected from the FA Cup in embarrassing fashion, as they lost 4-1 at home to Blackburn. Villa Park is not likely to be full for this game.
Villa are a side with pace in the middle which will put Spurs under more than a little pressure. Vassell will cause problems, but Dublin should be handled by whoever has the task in the middle this week. Lee Hendrie had a great game at The Lane at the start of the season, and no doubt will have a few shots, whilst Ian Taylor tends to score against us too often.
Will we break our Premiership duck this Saturday?( Whoopee! A Saturday league game for the first time since November!) I doubt it. I'll go for a scoring draw - 2-2.
