The day after the Charlton match, I put on 10 pound for us to be Premiership winners at the end of the season, but it just was not to be. After we were knocked off the top, I was mocked especially after I told them I put on the bet. But just for that period of time, everytime I put on teletext and got a newspaper our name was printed on top of the table. I still have a copy of the Sun, from the morning after the Charlton match. It's put in a box in my loft with my old Spurs shirts. Just think how much the newspaper could be worth in years to come.

Not the best game in the world but 3 points is 3 points we were all feeling
optimistic and the beer definitely tasted sweeter than normal in the
