Ron Reynolds Memorabilia on display
|

Further to the book by the late Ron Reynolds and Dave Bowler ("My life as a Fifties Footballer"), I have been advised of the following exhibition, by Ron's son, Dave:-
In conjunction with the book and as a temporary outlet for all of the memorabilia collected during my father's football career, we are having an exhibition at Haslemere Museum, High St. Haslemere, Surrey starting next Saturday 17 Jan, running to end Feb.
There is a vast collection of programmes (one for each game he played in from 1945 to 1964, including tour games in Europe, Russia, USA and Canada), old kit, scrapbooks with his own hand written match reports, action & team photos, cuttings for each game, coaching badges, medal, trophies, financial records, club fixture lists and rule books etc. etc. Even original Eagle comics in which he wrote a football column and an original BBC script 1950 for a sports TV programme he participated in.
This is sure to be of interest to old (and new) Spurs supporters, so if you can, why not get along to the Haslemere Museum!
