Youth Cup Semi-Final Preview 2005 - Ipswich v Spurs
It's an exciting end of season for the Spurs under-18 squad, who have reached the semi-finals of this year's FA Youth Cup. This competition generates as much excitement for these young lads, as the FA Cup does for their senior counter-parts - possibly more.
Spurs have won their way through to the semis with some exciting football, from talented players. No doubt the same can be said for their opponents - Ipswich Town.
With many thanks to Ipswich fan James Ager (who helped us with the Ipswich team line-up for the Under 18s Academy game early in the season), Spurs Odyssey is proud to be able to present to you a more detailed preview than one you are likely to get anywhere on the web for a game at this level.
The first leg is at Portman Road, Ipswich on Friday night, with the return at White Hart Lane next Wednesday (13th April). Both matches kick off at 7 p.m., and good crowds are guaranteed, so get there early if you can.
Spurs Odyssey intends to report on both legs. In the meantime, follow the links below for profiles of those likely to take part, and see how the teams reached the semi-final stages.
