Tottenham's failure to win the premier league is not for lack of effort; they finished third to Leicester City in 2016, with their 2-2 draw against Chelsea delivering the Foxes their first-ever Premier League championship, and ranked second to Chelsea in 2017.

In recent seasons, Liverpool and Manchester City have dominated the league. Several fans and analysts were concerned about which team could end this supremacy. Can Tottenham be the answer? Let's find out in this article! We'll use a few parameters to predict if the Spurs can win the league. Furthermore, predicting is fun whether you're factoring in football or Super Bowl Predictions.

Last season, Spurs finished fourth when Antonio Conte replaced Nuno Espirito Santo as manager before Christmas in 2021. This is a great accomplishment, given that the Spurs were expected to qualify for Europe regardless of the outcome. For all the Spurs fans out there, let's begin!

Conte Effect

Very few managers have accomplished what Conte has. He led Juventus to a string of 49 consecutive victories. At Chelsea, he equalled the longest streak of victories in the Premier League at the time (13 games), and he has won the league championship at every major team he has coached.

He established Juventus' nine-year reign in the league. At Inter Milan, he broke Juventus' nine-year league supremacy. He was the last coach in England to win the Premier League before City and Liverpool's reign. The Italian has also enhanced the quality of his players, as evidenced by Eric Dier's development. The Italian defeated City and went undefeated versus Liverpool last season.

Duo of Son-Kane

Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane are the most threatening pair in Premier League history. Their complementary game styles and mutual trust make them one of the most formidable attacking duos in the world. The pair's 56 goal efforts (40 goals and 16 assists) accounted for 81% of Tottenham's league goals last season.

For Spurs to have a chance to win the league, both players will need to maintain the same level of play as in recent years. They must also perform well in the most important games. The addition of Richarlison this summer makes the combo more formidable than in past seasons. If the Brazilian attacker performs at the same level as the two, they have a great chance of winning the league.

The World Cup Display: Relevancy

Tottenham is among the best-represented clubs at the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup, which begins in less than a week.

Twelve of the Club's players will represent their respective national teams in the Qatar World Cup, with several competing against each other for the championship.

Here is the list of Spurs players participating in the World Cup:

· Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris (France)
· Defenders: Ben Davies (Wales), Joe Rodon (Wales) (loan), Eric Dier (England), Cristian Romero (Argentina)
· Midfielders: Rodrigo Bentancur (Uruguay), Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Denmark), Pape Matar Sarr (Senegal)
· Attackers: Harry Kane (England), Richarlison (Brazil), Son Heung-min (South Korea), and Ivan Perisic (Croatia).

This also demonstrates the ability of the Club to harness the best from its players and ensure their quality performance, enhancing its credibility.

To sum up, consider the quality of the team's recent performances, the strength of their competition, and any injuries or suspensions that could affect critical players.

While it might be challenging to dethrone Arsenal from the top spot, considering it's still a long way to go and taking into account the significant factors, it might not be fiction to consider Spurs to be a real contender in the race!
