I was unable to see this game, so I have no report to offer, but I will put one on the site, as soon as one becomes available. What I do know, is that Nielsen missed a penalty ( or rather Crossley saved his weak kick ) at the end of the first half, after Iversen was brought down. I also do not know the formations, but note that both sides played three attackers.
I suspect that Iversen played midfield in the first half, but await confirmation. There are rumours today that Spurs have signed Leeds' loan player Korsten, but George Graham denied knowledge of this after today's game.
Apparently, Spurs were well on top in this match, and it was the same old story, of plenty of chances, but no-one capable of putting them away. Graham said that the team owed it to the fans to play to win all their remaining matches.
We now have 43 points; are back in the top half; and are only one point behind Liverpool. Let's have no pessimistic talk of the relegation fight, shall we ?
