Despite tonight's 1-0 victory for Reading over Newcastle, which has led to Spurs dropping to ninth place in the Premiership, there is still every reason to feel confident about Spurs gaining one of the three UEFA Cup places on offer through League placing. In fact, Spurs could still finish fifth!

Here are some offered predictions for the remaining games:-

Bolton to draw at West Ham, and lose at home to in-form Aston Villa for a final tally of just 56 points.

Everton to beat Portsmouth at home, then lose at Chelsea, gaining 57 points.

Reading beat Watford, but lose at Blackburn on the last day, finishing with 57 points.

Portsmouth lose at Everton, and draw at home to Arsenal, with an end result of 54 points.

Blackburn lose at Newcastle, lose at Tottenham, but beat Reading, thus getting 50 points only.

The mighty Spurs beat Charlton, Blackburn and Man City to not only leap above all our rivals, but to finish with 62 points. In fact two wins out of those three games should be enough not only to qualify, but also to finish fifth!
