77 readers submitted their grades after Saturday's Birmingham game, and the "spursometer" has been adjusted accordingly. Thanks as always to those who took part, as more offerings make the scores more representative.
As a result, substitute and goal-scoring hero Peter Crouch won your Man of the Match vote, although it was a marginal success over the other goal-scoring hero, Aaron Lennon. Both will be a part of Mr Capello's England squad for the Slovenia and Croatia games, along with Jermain Defoe.
Luke Modric was right up there with Lennon and Crouch, and will now be a frustrated observer for up to 8 weeks after his fracture sustained in the challenge with Lee Bowyer. We all hope that Luka's return will be sooner rather than later, but the absence will surely give Crouch a start next time around.
We all know that this has been Spurs' best start to a League season since the Double season, but it is not so long ago since they won 5 consecutive league games. This was in the 2006-07 season, under the management of Martin Jol, and also included a 9 match unbeaten run, including Cup matches.
