Did you know? - Eric Dier made his Spurs official debut against West Ham at Upton Park eight and a half years ago on 16th August, 2014. Eric capped that debut with our only goal to win the game in the last minute!
That was Eric's one and only goal against "The Hammers". He has now scored 12 league goals for Spurs. Eric made his 350th club appearance in Sunday's game. It was also his 260th Premier League appearance, putting him seventh in our all-time list of Premier League appearances. That list is led now by Hugo Lloris (357) and Harry Kane (303).
Eric was 29 last month and resumed his England International career in September last year after a break of two years. Eric's next senior cap will be his 50th. He made his England debut in a friendly against Spain in November, 2015.
Eric's 350 club appearances put him 28th in our all-time appearances list, just one behind Tommy Clay (1914-29) and six behind Heung-min Son, who holds 26th position in that list.
Going back to that August 2014 debut, Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane were the only other current Spurs players who took part in the game. Harry was an 83rd minute substitute. Ben Davies was a non-playing substitute. Ben would make his club debut in a Europa League game in the following week. Ben will make his 300th club appearance in his next game.
