Spurs Odyssey Reviews the Premiership Season
for 2014-2015 - Match 21

Spurs' poor record against Palace continues

I could almost use a template when reviewing this season's matches. Hugo Lloris was voted the Spurs man of the match, with Harry Kane the most outstanding outfield player.

Kane has now scored 8 League goals, and 18 in all competitions. He is now officially our top scorer on both fronts.

Hugo Lloris made another two excellent saves, both at close range. One was from Murray, and the other from Gayle. Lloris's saves have been worth countless points this season (not on Saturday of course), and without doubt as valuable as the goals scored. Hugo continues to lead the Spurs Odyssey charts for the season, and for January, with Harry Kane a close second.

Once again, Spurs have under-performed against opposition we should be swatting aside. Our Premier League record against Palace is now 17 points in 12 games (W 4 D 5 L 3), and of course we have managed to get only one point off them in the two games played this season.

My hopes of getting payback for under-par performances in home games against Palace, and West Brom are not looking good so far. I hope for better at home to Sunderland on Saturday, but they are draw specialists, and have shown a lot of resilience, so we can't be too hopeful.
